Three Weeks For Dreamwidth start very soon and I decided to host The FONSFAQ Poland Project. Basically, somebody asks a question about Poland, Polish people or Polish language and others answer. It would be great if anybody else except me could provide some answers. Multiple claims are welcome!

Hello everyone,

I had promised

martyna that I'd be back to illustrate the photograhy recommendation idea I suggested earlier. You'll find my first set of photo recs below, plus some comments on how I compiled this list. Feel free to "borrow" these ideas and do your own photo rec posts. :-)

Onto the recs:

Polska Zima, by Siuloon.

023794 - Sobki, by Nenuu.

The street lamp ruined it ;) (Płaza, Poland), by Darkmind_PL.

Gdansk, by rawf85.

Olsztyn, by rawf85.

Podhale - meadow with crocuses, by Karol Majewski.

High Water (Vistula River), by Jacek Magryta.

Now, my comments:

( Behind this cut )

That's all. I'll be reccing more photos in the near future, and I hope to see your recs here too. :-)

This is the official entry for suggestions regarding the "interests"-field on the community's profile. So if you have any suggestions, please post them here.

The feed entry is still very empty. If you stumble on Polish or Poland-related feeds, please let everyone know!
Also, does anyone knows about any communities on dreamwidth which are related to ours? (Topic or language-wise.) Feel free to pimp them here (and to pimp us there).

Has anyone been yet to Bialowieza? What's your impression? I really enjoyed the ancient forest there, tough I remember little since it's been years ago.

Chcialabym aby wiecej bylo roznych jezykow na dreamwidth, miedy innym polskiego, ale nie wiem jak do tego dotrzec. Moze ktos ma jakis pomysl?

martyna

Please post about those - others might want to tell you if they liked them or not, and what they experienced there. (I'm trying to go back there for holidays and will probably be with my bf's family, so maybe you think of places to show them I wouldn't think of!)

Also, if you have any pictures from Poland to share - go ahead, but if you're posting more then one try to think about using a cut.

Let's have fun.

If you have any idea what WE can do in our community, it's now the time to say so and we'll bust with posts. If you have any challenge or similar ideas for later, that's pretty fine with me, too. Comment and you will be heard. ;)
